Dr. Cottone retired from the U.S. Army in 1998. Raised in Long Island,
New York , he attended Chaminade High School . He received a Bachelor's
degree from St. John's University and obtained his D.D.S degree from the
University of Maryland . He completed his orthodontic training and Masters
degree at Ft. Knox , Kentucky and the University of Louisville. He belongs to
the American Association of Orthodontists and the American Dental
Association.  He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics.  He
is licensed to practice in North Carolina , Wisconsin, and Florida.


Dr. Cottone served twenty years in the Army Dental Corps.  Currently, his
practice consists of child and adult orthodontics. His last four years at Ft.
Bragg had a heavy concentration of surgical adult orthodontics.
Additionally, Dr. Cottone served as the mentor in Orthodontics for the
two-year General Dentistry residency program at Ft. Bragg .


Jeannette, his wife, is his Office Manager. They have made Fayetteville their
home since 1994.  Dr. and Mrs. Cottone have two daughters, Melissa and
Rachel, and one grandchild, Collins.  


Janet is our new Assistant Office Manager.  She caters to the financial and
appointment needs of all of our patients.   It is her positive, cheerful voice
who confirms all appointments daily.  She does the bookkeeping, filing, and
scheduling of appointments.  In brief, she  helps the Doctor and Office
Manager run the office efficiently.    


Imelda, Verena, and Evette are Orthodontic Assistants.  They are excellent
with adults, children and teenagers. They are compassionate and spend as
much time as necessary educating their patients. They are more than able to
explain procedures to you in such a way that you will leave the office feeling
comfortable and well informed.  Furthermore, they take as many continuing
education classes as they can to keep current with the latest techniques and
technology. All of our assistants are trained to work in the front office. You
will often hear their cheerful voice when you call. They will be happy to
answer any of your questions.


Everyone in this office is looking forward to serving you with high quality,
efficient and considerate care. Our caring, gentle staff uses the latest
orthodontic techniques. Our hours are convenient. Our environment is
comfortable, clean and sterile. We stress customer service and customer
satisfaction. We offer a convenient office payment plan and most types of
insurance are welcomed. We are a Military Provider and are in-network for
many insurances.
