| Dr. Cottone was raised in Long island, New York. He received his Bachelor’s degree from St. John’s University in New York City where he met his wife of 41 years. He obtained his D.D.S. degree from the University of Maryland. He served as a General Dentist and Orthodontist in the Army Dental Corp for 20 years. He received his orthodontic training and Masters degree at Fort Knox, Kentucky and the University of Louisville. His last four years at Fort Bragg had a heavy concentration of surgical adult orthodontics. Additionally, Dr. Cottone served as the mentor in orthodontics for Fort Bragg’s General Dentistry Residency Program. He belongs to the American Association of Orthodontists and the American Dental Association. Dr. Cottone and his wife have two children and three grandchildren which they spoil and see as often as time permits. Our purpose as a team is to provide the highest quality of care for each patient in a loving and caring manner. Customer satisfaction is our primary goal. Our concern is the total well-being of each individual and our aim is to enrich the lives of those we meet. Dr. Cottone’s specialty involves early intervention for young children as well as the treatment of adolescents, teenagers and adults. Jeanette, his wife, is his Office Manager. She could not do her job without the help of Janet, our new Assistant Office Manager. Janet caters to the financial and appointment needs of all of our patients. It is her positive, cheerful voice who confirms all appointments daily. She does the bookkeeping, filing, and scheduling of appointments. In brief, she helps the Doctor and Office Manager run the office efficiently. Imelda, Amber, and Evette are Orthodontic Assistants. Evette also doubles as our New Patient Treatment Coordinator. All of our assistants are excellent with patients. They are compassionate and spend as much time as necessary educating their patients. They are more than able to explain procedures to you in such a way that you will leave the office feeling comfortable and well informed. Furthermore, they take as many continuing education classes as they can to keep current with the latest techniques and technology. All of our assistants are cross-trained to work in the front office. They will be happy to answer any of your questions. We offer an affordable payment plan with a low down payment. Our insurance specialist will file most types of insurance including those for dependents of active duty and for retired military. You will find that we are in- network for many insurances.
